Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Optical Commercial International LLC ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in the Sultanate of Oman, collects, uses and protects personal data when you use our website (opticalcommercial.com) and the mobile applications we publish on Google Play, the App Store and other platforms (together, the "Services").
An individual app may publish an additional privacy notice describing data specific to that app. Where it does, that notice applies together with this policy.
1. Data we collect
- Data you give us: for example your name, email address, phone number and the content of messages you send us, or account details if an app requires registration.
- Technical data: device model, operating system version, app version, language, approximate region, and crash and performance logs.
- Usage data: how the Services are used (for example screens opened and features used), collected in aggregated or pseudonymous form.
- Purchase data: if you buy something inside an app, the payment is processed by Google Play or the App Store. We receive confirmation of the purchase but not your full card details.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data unless an app clearly asks for it for a specific feature and you agree.
2. How we use data
- to provide, operate and maintain the Services;
- to respond to your requests and provide support;
- to fix errors, improve performance and develop new features;
- to protect the Services and our users against fraud and abuse;
- to meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
3. Permissions
Some apps may ask for device permissions such as camera, location, notifications or storage. A permission is requested only when a feature needs it, and you can withdraw it at any time in your device settings.
4. Sharing
We share personal data only with:
- service providers that help us run the Services (for example hosting, analytics and crash reporting), under obligations to protect the data;
- app stores and payment platforms, for downloads and purchases;
- authorities, where required by law.
Some of these providers may process data outside Oman. Where they do, we take reasonable steps to make sure the data stays protected.
5. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and then delete or anonymise it.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, such as encryption in transit and access controls, to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including the Personal Data Protection Law of the Sultanate of Oman (Royal Decree 6/2022), you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, or object to certain processing. To make a request, or to delete an account created in one of our apps, email us at the address below.
8. Children
Our Services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
